ITINERARY:
Night 1: Hanoi- Laocai
At 08:30 pm Trangan Travel's tour guide will pick you up at hotel lobby to escort you to the Hanoi railway station for night train to Sapa. The train conditions are very basic however we will travel in soft sleeper class which is compartment for 4 passengers.
Stay overnight on the train.
Day 1: Laocai- Bacha market (sunday market)
Train arrives at Laocai Railway Station at 06.00 am, have breakfast at local restaurant before we set off on our scenic drive through the border town of Lao Cai to the colourful Sunday Market, Bac Ha. where you can meet all the minorities groups: Flower Hmong, Tay, Thai, Dzao, Xapho…This is amazing market is also well known for its various handicraft.
Stay overnight at hotel in Bacha.

Day 2: Bac Ha – Nam Mon (18km)
After breakfast we start our trek on the small path to Nam Mon where Varigated H’mong and Tay ethnic people live. After that we will be guests welcomed by a Tay family and their great hospitality and especially homemade rice wine at dinner.

Day 3: Nam Mon – Coc Ly (Tuesday Market) - Sapa (18km)
Breakfast will be cooked by your guide in the village, we leave Nam Mon for Trung Do village. This is also residential area of Tay ethnic group. Then we embark on boat on Chay River for Coc Ly market (2hrs cruise). Cocly Market the latest discovery market in the region offering a wide range of different colorful ethnic minorities, such as Hmong, Red Dzao, Tay, Phu La and Nung. After stroll around the market turn back to the car for transfer to Sapa. Upon arrival Sapa, check in and stay at hotel in Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa - Ylinh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (15km)
Begin trekking at 10.00 am down the valley to the Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black H’mong village Lao Chai San, Lao Chai. We then continue to Ta Van village to visit Zay people. We’ll stay overnight with a local family in Ta Van. Accommodation is basic but a unique and special experience.

Day 5: Ta Van- Giang Ta Chai - Ban Ho (15km)
Continue along small paths in the rice fields, cross the Muong Hoa River and arrive at the Tay village Ban ho. We stay overnight in a wooden Tay stilt house.

Day 6: Ban Ho – Nam Toong Nam Ken – My Son - Thanh Phu (25km)
After breakfast we’ll hike to Nam Sai Village to visit the Tay People, and then we’ll trek up to the Red Dzao Village the village of Xa Pho tribe - the smallest group in Sapa who have very little contact with modern Vietnam in My Son village. Then we trek one hour to trek up to hills to Thanh Phu village a Tay ethnic group. We arrive Thanh Phu and stay overnight on Bamboo's hut.

Day 7: Thanh Phu - Sapa (10 km) After breakfast, we’ll trek to Ban Den place. From here, we are collected by our vehicle and transferred back to Sapa. In the afternoon
you will have time to experience the colourful Sapa before driving to Lao Cai for the overnight train.

Day 8: Hanoi arrive. Upon arrival at Hanoi Station you will be transferred back to your hotel. End tour.
