According to the Danang Tourism Promotion Center, the bridge received more than 75,000 votes. “Most favorite check-in destination” is a brand new category of the WeChoice Awards in its fifth edition. The award enables young Vietnamese travelers to vote for the attraction that has left a great impression on them and helped them get amazing photos.

The Golden Bridge has also been listed among the top five impressive bridges in the world by Russian newspaper Sputnik News.

“Nestled in the forested hills of central Vietnam, two giant concrete hands emerge from the trees, holding up a glimmering golden bridge crowded with gleeful visitors taking selfies at the country's latest eccentric tourist draw,” the Golden Bridge was described by Sputnik News.

Located at a height of over 1,414 meters above sea level, the 150-meter-long bridge is like a silk crossing the sky, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

It was designed by TA Landscape Architecture in HCMC and completed in less than a year, with an idea to resemble “giant hands of a Buddha, pulling a strip of gold out of the land,” according to Vu Viet Anh, design principal at TA Landscape Architecture.
